Midwest Dance Collective Camp Mission:

Midwest Dance Camp is a sprouting community of dancers, drummer and creative souls. We are united by our love of dance and rhythm as an empowering community activity.

We believe that everyone can dance and that dance provides us with the opportunity to enrich ourselves and the greater community. We come together to dance, express compassion, exchange ideas, understand each other and celebrate life.

In our exploration of community and creativity we emphasize:

Respect for differences among cultures

Empowerment of children, elders & community members

Acknowledgement that our bodies and environment are sacred

A drug and alcohol free environment

Non-violence

Safety to express ourselves

Healing our own bodies and healing the earth
